Italian state-owned investment agency Invitalia announced this week that negotiations to sell a portfolio of six tourist villages to Gruppo Human Company have fallen through after offers came in below expectations.
A €137.5 mln sale of the assets was initially agreed in July 2019.
In a statement, Invitalia said however that it will continue to pursue the sale of the assets, which include Floriana Village, Simeri Village, Sibari Green Village, Costa di Simeri, Torre d’Otranto, Alimini Village, Tonnare di Stintino and the Pisticci Village.
