TIAA-CREF Global Real Estate, Prelios, JLL, CBRE
TIAA-CREF Global Real Estate – Randy Giraldo has been appointed managing director and portfolio manager, in charge of one of TIAA-CREF’s core real estate funds. Giraldo, who has been with TIAA-CREF since 2008, was most recently a portfolio manager for its real estate account, which has more than $20bn (€18.2bn) in assets under management. He has also held positions in acquisitions and portfolio management focused on the US and Latin America. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Giraldo worked at Lend Lease, Tishman Speyer and Starwood Capital Group.
Prelios Immobilien Management – Christian Verg has been appointed head of transaction management. Verg previously worked in transaction management at CR Investment Management in Berlin and in cross-border investments at Savills in Frankfurt am Main.
JLL – Dominic Szanto will join the renewable energy capital team as director, with a focus on developing its offshore wind and renewable energy advisory business in Europe. Szanto joins after spending 11 years at RWE Innogy. Andrew Peirson has been appointed managing director for Romania and South-Eastern Europe (SEE). Peirson will continue as managing director for the firm’s SEE business based in Belgrade. Silviana Badea joined JLL earlier this month as head of capital markets for Romania, having previously spent five years as country manager for Valad.
CBRE – Machiel Wolters has been promoted to head of EMEA industrial and logistics research. Wolters has led CBRE’s Dutch research team for six years. Richard Holberton is taking on a newly created role as EMEA head of occupier research. He was previously EMEA head of office and industrial research. Marc van Tilburg joins CBRE from global retail chain Ahold as head of CBRE Netherlands research.
