People moves: RREEF's Stobbe to take Union Investment COO role

Union Investment Real Estate – Jörn Stobbe has been recruited from RREEF (now Deutsche Asset Management) as COO. He will join the management board of Hamburg Union Investment Real Estate in February next year. Stobbe was a member of RREEF’s management board and responsible for acquisitions, disposals and asset management. He has also worked for Clifford Chance. CIO Martin Brühl is taking over the Europe division from Frank Billand, who will retire in March next year.

Redevco – Kristof Restiau has been appointed managing director for Belgium. Restiau succeeds Eric Van Dyck, who has been in the role since 2010. Restiau previously worked for Kinepolis and European luxury outlet specialist Value Retail.

Henderson Park – Michael Jenkinson and Adel Oucherif have been recruited from Goldman Sachs and CQS, respectively, as principals. Jenkinson was most recently an executive director in Goldman Sachs’s European Special Situations Group. Oucherif was a portfolio manager at CQS. Prior to that, he worked in Mount Kellett’s European real estate team.

Cushman & Wakefield – Joep van de Vorstenbosch has been appointed to lead a new team focused on sourcing, evaluating and executing strategic investments across its EMEA business. He joins from Canaccord Genuity Group.
