Hermes Investment Management – Philip Nell has been appointed fund director in London. Nell, who joins from Aviva Investors in July (see below), will manage the firm’s UK private-rented sector (PRS) fund and report to Chris Taylor.
Aviva Investors – Mike Luscombe has been named lead manager of the Aviva Investors Property Trust (AIPT). Luscombe replaces Nell (see above).
Allianz Real Estate – Hugues Braconnier has been recruited as head of logistics. Braconnier, who has previously worked for AXA Real Estate, ING and JLL, will work on the firm’s global logistics strategy.
Pradera – Alfonso Brunet Morales-Arce has been appointed as head of Spain. He has also worked for CBRE.
Colliers International – Thomas Dänzel has been named head of retail investment in Germany. The business economist has been at Colliers since 2001. The firm has also appointed Richard Bruce as director of operations in EMEA division. Bruce joins from law firm Kennedys.
HB Reavis – Graham Jones and Rod Davensac have joined as directors in the UK. Jones, a chartered surveyor, has taken on the role of projects director. Before joining HB Reavis, he was a director of the commercial offices division at AECOM. Davensac who joins as a construction director, joins from Lend Lease.
Strategic Value Partners – Ian Guthrie, previously of Lloyds Banking Group has been appointed to the firm’s advisory council. Guthrie was most recently managing director of Lloyds’ real estate business support unit.
Irwin Mitchell – The firm has appointed Martha Grekos as a partner of planning in London. Grekos was previously a principal associate at Eversheds and has also worked for Herbert Smith and Berwin Leighton Paisner. She has also worked at the specialist Planning and Environmental Bar.
