Manulife, Blackstone, Cornerstone, Eastdil, IVD, Gatehouse Bank, Internos, Deutsche Hypo, BNP PRE, CBRE, JLL

Manulife Asset Management – Jenn Lundmark has been hired for the newly created role of head of real estate fundraising. She was most recently a director at American Realty Advisors.

Blackstone – Jonathan Pollack has joined the firm as a senior managing director in its real estate group. Pollack will be chief investment officer for Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS), reporting to Mike Nash, who continues as the Global head of BREDS. Pollack was previously a managing director and global head of commercial real estate, as well as head of risk for structured finance, at Deutsche Bank.

Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers – Jorge Duarte has been named director of fund management in Europe. Duarte joins from AXA Real Estate where he served for five years as a pan-European fund manager. Prior to his time at AXA Real Estate, Jorge worked for three years as country manager for southern Europe at Howard Holdings.

Eastdil Secured – Michael Rhydderch is joining the firm from Brookfield Financial. Rhydderch, who joined Brookfeld in September 2013, has also worked for Cushman & Wakefield, having joined the firm in 2000. He has also worked for CBRE in Italy and Portugal.

IVD – Jürgen Michael Schick has been elected as president. He was previously vice-president. He will replace Jens-Ulrich Kießling, who was president since 2007. Jürgen Weihgold has been named treasurer. Margot Schlubeck, Axel Kloth and Andreas Hubert have been elected to the board.

Gatehouse Bank – Will Innes has been appointed vice president within the real estate investment team. Most recently at Waypoint Capital, Innes has also worked for Aldar Properties. He will be responsible for sourcing and originating real estate transactions in the UK and continental Europe.

Internos – Roger Lees has been appointed chief financial officer. Lees was previously finance director at Aviva Investors. Prior to this, he spent 12 years at Schroder Property Investment Management and has also worked for Lend Lease, Broadgate Properties and PWC.

Deutsche Hypo – Harald Nolterieke has been appointed head of acquisitions. He will move to the role in Munich December this year, taking over from Bernd Hansen who is retiring. Nolterieke was previously head of SEB’s Munich branch and has also worked for Deutsche Bank and Eurohypo.

BNP Paribas Real Estate – Logan Smith has been appointed head of logistics investment for Europe, reporting to Etienne Prongué. Smith was previously head of investment at P3 Logistics Parks. He has also worked for Keystyone Property Trust, Realterm Global and Prologis.

CBRE – Simon Plunkett has joined the company as an associate director. Plunkett previously headed a team of five in DNG’s commercial agency division.

JLL – Małgorzata Żółtowska has been appointed as chief operating officer for CEE. Żółtowska will combine the role with her existing position as head of valuations for CEE. She replaces Joanna Gajewska-Sokołowska as operations manager CEE, who has been appointed director of EMEA lease administration.
