LOGOS — Tom Lee has been appointed to the newly-created role of chief executive officer of the group. Lee was most recently head of real estate EMEA at BlackRock. He will help lead and co-ordinate the logistics specialist’s operations across five regions: Australia, China, Singapore, Indonesia and India.
Real Capital Analytics — David Green-Morgan has joined the commercial real estate data and analytics firm as managing director for Asia Pacific, a newly created position for the company. Green-Morgan will oversee RCA’s growing operations across the region. He will be based in Singapore. Before joining RCA, he spent six years at brokerage firm Jones Lang LaSalle in Singapore, where he was responsible for the output and direction of their real estate capital markets research globally. Prior to that, he spent five years at advisory firm DTZ in Sydney as head of Asia-Pacific research. Green-Morgan started his career at Investment Property Databank.
Orchard Street Investment Management — Mark Long has been appointed as head of strategy. Long will lead Orchard Street’s research, forecasting and strategy team. Long joins Orchard Street with over 26 years of experience in real estate research and strategy, and for the past five years as head of real assets research and strategy for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at BlackRock . He previously held senior posts in real estate research and strategy including at Aberdeen Asset Management and Invista Real Estate Investment Management, now part of Palmer Capital.
Aprirose — Peter Davies has been appointed as head of property. Davies joins the UK-based real estate investment company from Ashmore Group, a specialist emerging markets investment manager, where he was global head of real estate. He started his career at Daniel Watney, subsequently working at London Docklands Development Corporation, ING Real Estate and Goodman.
Meanwhile, Soraya Shamji will take the role of senior vice president. Shamji was previously vice president, hotels and leisure at Hudson Advisors before joining Aprirose. She has previously worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland, Colliers International and CBRE Hotels.
Coyote — Johnnie Sims joins the real estate software company as head of client services. Sims will oversee the business’ client offering, working alongside the management team. Sims joins from M7 Real Estate, where he was an investment manager for five years. Sims is a Chartered Surveyor and has worked in the property industry for over seven years, including as a surveyor forJones Lang LaSalle.
