Ivanhoé Cambridge has promoted Meka Brunel to the position of president for Europe.
She previously served executive vice-president for the Canadian institution’s real estate activity in Europe.
Bill Tresham, president at Ivanhoé Cambridge, said Brunel, a member of the executive team for the past seven years, had shown strong leadership.
“Over the years, she has assembled a solid team of dedicated professionals who continue to demonstrate depth and expertise,” he said.
“Thanks to her efforts and those of the entire Europe team, Ivanhoé Cambridge is well positioned in the European and global real estate markets.”
Brunel has previously held senior management positions at Simco (now Gecina) and Eurosic.
In 2006, she was appointed chief executive of Eurosic, remaining there until 2009, when she was named managing director for Europe of Ivanhoé Cambridge’s SITQ.
She is also a board member of P3 Logistic Parks and HBS Global Properties.
