LaSalle Investment – Eric Duchon has joined as global head of sustainability. He will be based in LaSalle’s Chicago office for the newly created role. He will also chair LaSalle’s global sustainability committee. Duchon most recently served as director of sustainability strategies for Cushman & Wakefield in New York.
Hines – Lars Huber has assumed the role of sole chief executive of Hines Europe and will join the Hines executive committee this month. The chief executive position for Hines’s European operations had been shared over the last year by Huber and Michael Topham, who previously held the role for 26 years in Europe. Huber joined Hines in Berlin in 1996 and later headed the firm’s Munich office until 2004. In 2005, he relocated to London as manager for the Hines European Value Added fund, before taking over responsibility for equity capital-raising in Europe and Asia as a member of the Hines Capital Markets Group in 2007. In 2010, Huber became CFO of Hines Europe, and co-chief executive in January 2016.
Pantheon – Robin Bailey, CFO, has been promoted to partner alongside the promotion of 14 professionals worldwide. He succeeds Robert Amis, who retired at the end of 2016. Amis joined Pantheon as COO in 2010 and subsequently became a member of Pantheon’s partnership board. Pantheon announced six promotions within the global investment team, including two at principal level – Charlotte Morris and Sara Lonergan. Eight additional promotions were made in the operations, client services, global marketing and legal and compliance teams.
Multi Corporation – Jaap Blokhuis is to stand down from his role as chief executive in April. He will be replaced by Josip Kardun, formerly chief executive of Atrium European Real Estate. Kardun will be appointed to Multi’s management board. Kardun has been a senior executive at Atrium for the past three years, first as COO and then, since December 2014, as chief executive.
Catella – Josef Mehkri has been recruited as a senior client manager. He joins from Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, where he was a director in equities. Carl Berg from Catella Bank has joined Catella’s fund management unit.
