Starwood Capital Europe Advisers Peter Denton will be leaving the firm at the end of this month. Starwood said Denton, who has been with the company for four years, will be moving to a property-related not-for-profit organisation as CFO. Denton was a member of Starwood’s investment committee. Duncan MacPherson will assume Denton’s investment adviser responsibilities while retaining existing and primary responsibility for loan origination. 

Redefine International Matthew Baddeley has been appointed senior retail asset manager. Baddeley joins from The Crown Estate, where he spent the past two years as a retail-focused asset manager. Prior to this, Baddeley spent more than seven years with Savills UK.

DWF – The law firm has launched a real estate team in Dublin, appointing Michael Neary as partner. He joins from Eversheds.

2IP – Christian Völxen is leaving the German KVG after four years. He previously worked for Feri EuroRating Services.

JLL – Nick Hart has been appointed in the advisory firm’s UK retail capital markets team. He joins from Savills where he established and led the retail investment team. He was previously director in JLL’s shopping centre investment team between 1996 and 2004.
