Blackstone – Chris Heady, current head of real estate in Asia, has been named Blackstone’s chairman of Asia Pacific. Jan Nielsen, who currently who leads the firm’s private equity investing in Southeast Asia, Japan and Korea and acts as chief operating officer for Blackstone Capital Partners in the region, will work as chief operating officer for all Blackstone businesses and administrative functions in Asia Pacific. Carol Kim, ranking investor relations professional in Asia Pacific, has been named firm-wide chief operating officer of investor relations across the region. Daisuke Kitta, current head of the real estate group in Japan, has been named head of Japan for all business and administrative functions. Susannah Lindenfield, currently the head of international compliance, has been named general counsel for Asia Pacific. 

DealX – Phil Tily, former managing director at IPD (now MSCI), is assisting DealX on the strategic development of information services. Tily recently set up his own real estate information advisory business (Real Estate Information Analysis). Mark Prickett, former head of EMEA property data sales at MSCI has also recently joined to advise on sales in Europe.

St Modwen PropertiesMark Allan has been named chief executive from December. Bill Oliver, current chief executive, will retire on 30 November. Allan joins from The Unite Group, where he has been chiefexecutive since 2006. 

Grosvenor – Peter Vernon, currently chiefexecutive of Grosvenor Britain & Ireland, will take on the new role of group executivedirector next year. Craig McWilliam, currently GBI’s executivedirector for the London Estate, will succeed Vernon as chiefexecutive of GBI. Will Bax, currently director for place-making, will be promoted to its board as executivedirector for London Estate Investment and Development.

Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate – Eitel Coridaß has quit the board to head the group’s new consultancy HIH Institutional Advisory. The independent new company was set up this month. A spokesman confirmed the creation of an independent advisory was “of strategic importance” to the group, with “an experienced and well-connected colleague” chosen to head the new unit. Board member Alexander Eggert is taking on Coridaß’ remits in fund management.

CBRE Global InvestorsRik Eertink has been named fund manager of the CBRE Dutch Retail Fund. Eertink, who joined CBRE Global Investors in 2004, is currently country manager of the Nordics and fund manager of the CBRE Nordic Property Fund (NPF).

Patrizia ImmobilienWolfgang Egger, founder of Patrizia, has had his role as CEO extended by five years until 2021.
