Valor Real Estate Partners has added 20,153sqm logistics facility in the Netherlands to its Dutch portfolio.
The European industrial platform has invested an unspecified sum to acquire the asset in Berkel en Rodenrijs, just north of Rotterdam from Ofi Invest Real Estate.
The asset, which was completed in 2021 and has an unexpired lease term of around five years, represents Valor’s fifth acquisition in the Netherlands, across Amsterdam and Rotterdam markets.
Matthew Ganas, investments SVP at Valor Real Estate Partners, said: “This transaction represents a rare opportunity to acquire a high-quality, stabilised asset in a prime location close to one of Europe’s busiest ports.
“With future supply expected to be limited, both due to land scarcity and the use restrictions that apply closer to the port, assets of this scale and calibre are well-positioned to benefit from increasing occupier demand.”
