French student and young professional living platform UXCO has invested €35m to acquire two new student residences in the Paris region.

UXCO has acquired a 128-bed project in Gennevilliers, developed in partnership with Nexity and financed by Caisse d’Épargne, and a 123-bed project in Bezons, developed by Perspective Habitat and financed by Société Générale.

As a result of the latest deals, UXCO said it now offers close to 15,000 beds across 77 residences all over France.

Maël Aoustin, group CEO and president of the UXCO group management board, said: “These two strategic acquisitions demonstrate our aim of reinforcing our presence in high-potential areas around Paris and growing our portfolio of quality student residences across France.

“We’re pursuing the expansion of our two complementary co-living and student brands, ECLA and UXCO Student, to offer residents an unparalleled experience while consolidating our market leadership.”
