US property manager Jamestown is in talks to buy the Levi’s Plaza office building in San Francisco for around $820m (€731.5m), according to sources.

According to sources familiar with the sale of the 800,000sqft office building located at 1155 Battery Street, the transaction has not closed yet.

The asset – owned by San Francisco-based Gerson Bakar and Associates – is home to firms like Levi Strauss & Co, BCCI Construction and Ubiquity Retirement & Savings.

Jamestown declined a request for comment. The listing agent Eastdil Secured did not respond to a request for comment.

IPE Real Assets reported earlier this year that Jamestown is asking investors to renew their commitment obligation to its Jamestown Premier Property core and core-plus fund to give the manager more time to invest the capital.
