UK housebuilder The Hill Group is acquiring two land parcels in Takeley, Essex, for a 108 residential home project with a gross development value of £50m (€57.3m).
The Hill Group said it has agreed to buy the 16-acre Parsonage Road site through land promoter Endurance Estates and agent Sworders, with the final housing project committing to allocate 40% of the homes as affordable housing.
Andy Hill, founder and group CEO of The Hill Group, said: “Parsonage Road is a well-located site that will enable us to deliver high-quality new homes in an area where there is a strong housing need.
“By adapting existing consents to reflect local housing requirements, we can create a new residential community that truly enhances the local area. We look forward to engaging with residents and stakeholders as we develop our detailed proposals.”
