Texas Permanent School Fund Corporation has approved a $100m (€89.3m) commitment to KKR’s latest US real estate fund.
The sovereign wealth fund committed the capital to KKR Real Estate Partners Americas IV, which is seeking to raise $3.5bn.
KKR disclosed in its second-quarter 2026 earnings report that it had raised $2.6bn for the fund by that period.
The investment period for Fund IV began in November 2024 and runs through November 2028. The value-add fund targets a combination of senior housing, industrial, multifamily, single-family, student housing and data centres.
KKR declined to comment.
Texas Permanent also placed $10m into DigitalBridge AI Infrastructure A, an opportunistic fund targeting assets including data centres, fibre networks, edge infrastructure and cell towers.
DigitalBridge did not respond to a request for comment.
Texas Permanent committed $9m to the Vintage Energy Partners T partnership, managed by Goldman Sachs, which also did not respond to a request for comment.
Finally, Texas Permanent committed $2.5m to Three Premier SHD, a real estate debt fund managed by Affinius Capital.
