Texas Municipal Retirement System has committed $250m (€211.9m) to its real assets portfolio through three new investments.
The pension fund disclosed in a board meeting document that it approved a $100m commitment to the NorthPoint Industrial Fund VII, marking its first-ever investment with a fund managed by NorthPoint Development.
According to an SEC filing from the end of July 2025, the fund had raised $536m, which is over halfway to its $1bn capital raise target. Fund VII is a US real estate opportunity fund.
Texas Municipal Retirement made a $100m commitment to ERA Infra Fund II, a North America infrastructure fund managed by ERA Partners.
The pension fund made a $50m infrastructure co-investment in the Excelsior Renewable Energy Feeder Fund II-B, following a previous $150m direct commitment in May 2023.
The fund invests in US-based solar, energy storage, wind and other energy-transition assets.
