SUSI Partners has so far raised €275m for second energy efficiency fund and expects to exceed the fund’s €300m fundraising target.
The manager said the SUSI Energy Efficiency Fund II (SEEF II) fund benefitted from the predecessor fund’s track record and extensive partnership network, and is targeting a final close in the second quarter of 2020.
The fund raised €45.4m at its first close in January last year and added €103.2m at its second close in July the same year.
Marius Dorfmeister, co-CEO and global head of clients at SUSI Partners, said: “Since the last closing in July 2019, we have raised new investor commitments of over €125m.
“With a number of additional investors in advanced due diligence, we aim to have a final close significantly exceeding the target of €300m in the second quarter of 2020.”
Since January 2019 SEEF II has invested in 17 transactions across nine countries with total volume of €93m to date, the Swiss manager said.
