Stoneweg intends to invest over €100m to convert the Comèdia cinema building in Spain into the Carmen Thyssen Museum.
The investment firm Stoneweg said it has acquired the 6,700sqm Comèdia cinema building located at the junction of Passeig de Gràcia and Gran Via in Barcelona from Pla and Planàs families.
Stoneweg said it is investing over €100m to buy and renovate the property into a new cultural space promoted by Baroness Carmen Cervera and Stoneweg Places & Experiences.
Stoneweg Places & Experiences, a division of Stoneweg, specialises in the creation and development of cultural, innovative, educational and entertainment projects.
The division finances projects and participates in their management and design, with a focus on Barcelona and its metropolitan area.
