Real assets manager Stonepeak has added a 860,100sqft logistics asset in Texas to its US portfolio.

Stonepeak has invested an unspecified sum to acquire the rail-served logistics asset in the Alliance submarket of Dallas-Fort Worth.

Phill Solomond, senior managing director and head of real estate at Stonepeak, said: “Stonepeak invests in the supply chain from producer to consumer. Real estate anchored by transportation infrastructure is a critical link in the supply chain.”

After launching its real estate platform in 2021 and closing its flagship fund at $764m (€662m) in late 2024, Stonepeak is back in the market.

Last month, IPE Real Assets reported that the firm had raised $820m toward a $1.5bn target for its second US real estate strategy.

The capital for Fund II includes both direct commitments and co-investments, backed by an initial $75m allocation from the New Mexico Educational Retirement Board.
