State of Wisconsin Investment Board has made a follow-on commitment to a North American energy infrastructure fund managed by Quantum Capital.
The pension fund said it completed a $39m secondary market purchase for an additional limited partnership position in Quantum Energy Partners VII.
The latest deal follows a $50m commitment the pension fund previously made to the fund.
Partners VII had a final close in 2018 with total commitments of $5.6bn. This fund invests in the sectors of oil and gas, energy transition and decarbonisation.
