San Francisco Employees Retirement System (SFERS) is investing in an Australian value-add industrial fund managed by Cabot Properties.

The pension fund disclosed in a meeting document that it had approved a A$33m (€20.6m) commitment to CIVF VI-A Australia.

SEC filing late December shows that the new fund had no investors at the time.

Cabot Properties did not respond to a request for comment.

SFERS said in the meeting document that has also added Artemis Real Estate Partners to its real estate lineup by approving a $60m (€52.4m) commitment to Artemis Real Estate Partners Healthcare Fund II. The US value-add fund is seeking to raise $750m to target medical office, senior housing and debt transactions.

Artemis did not respond to a request for comment.
