Sentinel Real Estate has added a 328-unit, garden-style luxury US apartment complex to its portfolio.

According to sources, the real estate investment management firm paid around $148m (€267m) to acquire The Venue at Orange complex in California from LuxView Properties.

The luxury apartment community was completed in 2023 and comprises seven buildings, including six residential structures and a mixed-use community clubhouse.

George Tietjen, managing director of Sentinel, said: “This transaction exemplifies our strategy of acquiring institutional quality apartment communities in desirable suburban areas supported by strong demographic and economic tailwinds, including population growth, diverse employment bases and limited residential supply.

“The Venue at Orange is well positioned to benefit from these trends due to its optimal location, expansive suite of upscale amenities and convenient accessibility to key employment, retail and lifestyle hubs of the Greater Inland Empire.”
