London-focused commercial real estate investor Seaforth Land has appointed Derwent London’s Edward Sneddon to lead its development team.

Sneddon, who joins Seaforth Land’s management team, spent 12 years as a senior member with the listed property developer and was responsible for the delivery of office and mixed-use developments.

He began his career at Goldman Sachs where he worked in bond and debt trading and moved on to SG Asset Management as an equity fund manager and later as an interest rate derivatives trader for Lloyds TSB Financial Markets.

Tyler Goodwin, CEO of Seaforth Land, said: “Ed’s unique combination of talents in development and finance adds to Seaforth’s deep bench of expertise.

“He comes with a stellar reputation as a strong but fair manager of one of London’s leading development teams and as a creative problem solver who takes a granular approach to construction schedules, budgets and quality control.”

Sneddon said: “Seaforth Land is characterised by its disciplined institutional focus and its creative approach to commercial real estate, and I look forward to applying my background of well-considered, design-led development to its growing portfolio.”
