Renewables company Scatec is selling a 39MW wind farm in Vietnam together with a local operating company to the SUSI Partners-managed Asia energy transition fund.

The SUSI Asia Energy Transition Fund (SAETF) has invested an unspecified amount to buy the Dam Nai wind farm located in the Vietnam province of Ninh Thuận and will also take over Scatec’s Vietnam-based operating company.

SUSI said the Dam Nai wind farm will become a cornerstone asset of SAETF’s utility-scale renewable energy platform, sustainable Asia renewable assets (SARA).

The SARA platform has been created to hold SAETF’s grid-scale renewable energy projects across the emerging markets of Southeast Asia.
