Rgreen Invest has raised nearly €500m for its latest infrastructure debt fund, more than double the capital secured for its predecessor.
Rgreen said the Infrabridge IV fund, which focuses on the European lower mid-market, attracted commitments from around 20 institutional investors.
Nearly 70% of the capital came from first-time participants in the strategy, while international investors accounted for 30% of total commitments, the manager added.
Nicolas Rochon, founder and CEO of Rgreen Invest, said: “The successive closings of Infragreen V and Infragreen IV mark another important milestone in Rgreen Invest’s development. They demonstrate our investors’ continued confidence in our ability to support Europe’s energy transition through complementary financing solutions across both equity and debt.
“As investment requirements continue to grow, we remain committed to expanding our platform in support of Europe’s energy security and decarbonisation ambitions.”
