European urban real estate and regeneration specialist Redevco has set up a new business to target special situation opportunities.

Redevco said it has partnered with Oliver Herrmann, founder of German large-scale retail specialist Redos, to launch Redevco Capital Partners which will invest across multiple asset classes in select European markets alongside strategic capital partners.

Redevco acquired Redos in 2022.

Neil Slater, CEO Redevco, said: “By introducing Redevco Capital Partners, we are adding an exciting new business to our existing suite of urban regeneration activities. Concentrating on opportunities positioned higher in the risk-return spectrum, we have a specialist team in London with the focus, agility and entrepreneurship to capitalise on market opportunities at an exciting time in the real estate cycle.”
