Aviva Investors Real Estate France has acquired a residential building in Denmark’s capital from Danish pension fund PKA.
The manager has bought the 18,250sqm Vestre Teglgade 2 building in Copenhagen for an undisclosed amount.
The asset comprises 187 residential units and is almost fully let.
Grégoire Bailly-Salins, the head of transactions Europe at Aviva Investors Real Estate France, said following the acquisition of both Farumgade 4-14 and Skelmosevej 6 earlier this year, the Vestre Teglgade 2 acquisition strengthens the firm’s residential portfolio under management in Denmark.
“We firmly believe that the continuous redevelopment and infrastructure improvements of the South Harbor area, its direct vicinity to the historical city centre and its popularity among families will benefit to our asset and make it a perfect addition to our current portfolio.”
Aviva Investors Real Estate France is a subsidiary of Abeille Assurances, formerly Aviva France.
