Schroders – The investment manager has appointed Georg Wunderlin to the newly created role of global head of private assets. Wunderlin, who assumes his role in May, will focus on developing and executing Schroders’ growth strategy across these specialist asset classes which include infrastructure debt and real estate. Wunderlin was most recently the CEO alternatives manager HQ Capital. He joined Auda International in 2012 as its COO, a role he retained after Auda, Real Estate Capital Partners and Equita were combined in 2015 to form HQ Capital.
Aviva Investors – Adrien Beuriot has joined in the newly-created role of head of continental Europe real estate asset management. Beuriot will lead teams in Paris and Frankfurt. He joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management, where he held the position of head of investments in France since March 2018. Previously, Beuriot worked at Standard Life Investments, AXA Real Estate France, General Electric Real Estate, Société Générale and PwC.
Europa Capital – Ian Currie has been appointed to the newly created role of director within the private capital markets team. Currie will also support the management and growth of the firm’s EMEA-based client relationships across global real estate equity and real estate debt funds. Currie most recently specialised in capital raising at Nuveen Real Estate. He was previously with Grosvenor Group.
Arrow Capital Partners – Katherine Parker has been appointed partner and head of investment management in Europe. Parker joins the real estate investor from Tesco Pension Investment where she was senior fund manager and head of UK and Europe. Previously, she was a senior fund manager at Valad Europe.
Avignon Capital – The European property manager has appointed Jacco van Pelt as asset manager. Based in the Netherlands, he will focus on the asset management of the existing Dutch portfolio as well as sourcing new real estate investment opportunities across the Netherlands. Prior to joining Avignon, he worked for Mayfield Asset and Property Management NL for 10 years as a commercial director and senior asset manager.
La Française Real Estate Partners – Jean-Christophe Caron-Telders has joined as senior investment manager, responsible for sourcing and underwriting real estate assets for French and international institutional clients. Caron-Telders started his career at EDF Group’s property arm SOFILO then moved to Aerium in Paris. He also worked as head of fund management at ACOFI and joined La Française Real Estate Managers in March 2017.
Cushman & Wakefield – Katell Bourgeois has been appointed to lead the real estate services firm’s EMEA hospitality team in France. Bourgeois joins from JLL’s hotels and hospitality team in Paris. Bourgeois will be responsible for building a full-service hospitality function in France, which will include capital markets, advisory, development and operator selection. Josephine Duforest from CBRE and Olivier Monteux from Accor have also joined the team as analysts.
JLL – Gary Hosie has joined the real estate services firm as director and project management lead for the hotel sector. He joins from Interstate Hotels & Resorts where he was vice president of property.
BMO Real Estate Partners – Emma Gullifer has joined the manager’s £550m UK property fund as an assistant fund manager. Based in London, Gullifer will be responsible for the fund’s management and will also be actively involved in client liaisons and ongoing marketing of the fund. She joins from DTZ Investors where she most recently worked as an assistant portfolio manager. She was with DTZ for four years.
Gresham House – The specialist alternative asset manager has appointment Olly Hughes as managing director to lead Gresham House’s 110,000 hectares forestry division. Hughes joins from Oxford Capital Partners where he was head of infrastructure. Prior to Oxford Capital, Hughes was managing director and founder at Vigor Renewables. He was also formerly CEO of an investment banking joint venture between Devonshire Capital and Kiatnakin Finance and Securities for 5 years. He started his career with Baring Brothers then ING Barings.
BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management – Claus P Thomas has been named CEO of the manager’s German business. His responsibilities will particularly include directing the sales, product and business development, research, portfolio management and financing teams.

M7 Real Estate – The pan-European asset manager has appointed Tony Edgley as non-executive chairman. Edgley succeeds Hugh Ellingham who has taken up an executive role with the group as CEO of the newly formed M7 Developments. Edgley M7 joins after almost eight years as a partner at Brockton Capital, where he was responsible for originating and leading multi-sector transactions. Prior to Brockton Capital, he spent over ten years as corporate finance managing director at JLL.
JCRA – Simon Marshall has joined the financial risk advisor’s real estate division as director. Marshall will focus on driving business development for JCRA’s real estate debt advisory business. Marshall spent the last four years as head of UK commercial real estate finance at Landesbank Baden-Württemberg. Prior to this, he led both the UK commercial real estate debt restructures and workouts team and the commercial property finance team at Nationwide.
