Tunstall Real Estate Asset Management – David White has been appointed to head the alternative real estate lender’s debt strategies. White joins from CR Management where he held the position of managing director, responsible for its UK debt business. Prior to this, he held senior positions in the corporate real estate teams at Nationwide and Lloyds Bank. In his new role, White will be responsible for developing the Tunstall lending business and increasing the loan book.
Cloudscraper – Joshua Phillips has joined the commercial real estate exchange platform as global head of implementation and adoption. Phillips will oversee client success and will lead large implementation projects for Cloudscraper’s enterprise customers. He was previously at Hanover Street Capital, a subsidiary of Situs, where he ran portfolio management for Deutsche Bank’s commercial real estate group. Prior to that, he held senior positions in their loan risk advisory business. Before joining Situs, Phillips was an executive director at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities where he headed ABS trading. He has also worked at National Australia Bank and Dresdner Bank.
JLL – Dan Brown has been appointed to lead the newly created flexible office EMEA team. Brown joined JLL in 2012 to lead the London serviced office team. Prior to that, he was a commercial real estate agent at UK-based workspace operator Landmark. In his new role, Brown will lead JLL’s leasing agency and advisory services for corporate and investor clients looking at the flex space market.
Greystone – Jennifer Cherney has joined the real estate investment and advisory firm as managing director. The appointment is part of the company’s effort to expand its lending operations across Northwest US. Cherney will focused on national multifamily real estate lending across a range of sectors. Before joining Greystone, Cherney most recently was executive director, commercial term lending and multifamily finance for JP Morgan Chase in Seattle. Cherney has also served as vice president of strategic finance at Extell Development Company and as a managing director at Meridian Capital Group.
