UBS Asset Management – Jonathan Ufton has joined the asset manager’s real estate and private markets arm as asset manager for its UK real estate team. In his new role, Ufton is responsible for the asset management of real estate assets for Triton Property Fund as well as segregated mandates on behalf of international investors. Ufton most recently worked at Curzon Advisers where he spent the past five years as the portfolio and sole asset manager of cross-sector UK and pan-European real estate portfolios. He started his career at DTZ, where he worked as an investment surveyor and fixed charge receiver in both the investment brokerage and corporate recovery teams, involved in the valuation, acquisition and disposition of commercial property and the receivership of distressed real estate assets.
Gresham House – Rebecca Craddock-Taylor has joined the company as director of sustainable investment. In this newly created role, Craddock-Taylor will be leading on further developing and integrating the company’s existing sustainable investment policies and processes across both the strategic equity and real assets divisions’ investment strategies. Alongside this, she will oversee the provision of identifiable metrics to highlight the sustainable aspects of Gresham House’s investment capabilities. She joins from Univest where she was an ESG strategist. Prior to this, she was an investment consultant and responsible investment adviser at pensions consultancy Hymans Robertson.
Urban Catalyst – Trevor Davies has been appointed as the real estate developer’s chief sustainability adviser, a non-paying role. Davies has been director of the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia.
Skanska – The construction firm has appointed Jonathan Willcock to lead its UK infrastructure business from October 2020. He will also be a member of Skanska’s senior leadership team. Willcock joins from Alstom, where for the last seven years he has led its systems, signalling and infrastructure business. He has also held senior roles at Go-Ahead and Vinci.
Comstock – John Harrison has joined as SVP/development of the firm’s commercial real estate asset management subsidiary, CDS Asset Management. Prior to joining Comstock, Harrison served for nearly ten years as VP and SVP/development at The Macerich Company. Prior to Macerich, Harrison held other real estate related management positions including; director of development and senior counsel at Wilmorite and SVP/alternative lending at HSBC Mortgage Corporation.
