Matter Real Estate – Janine Schumann has been appointed as head of Europe to lead the next chapter of the living-sector cycle and help accelerate the growth and evolution of the platform. Schumann joins from Ares Management, where she served as managing director in the real estate team, and previously held the role of part of the team at AREA Property Partners. With two decades of experience, she also spent 13 years at Ares Management, where she established a track record of executing and managing a portfolio of complex transactions across diversified opportunistic and value-add strategies. In her new role, she will support Matter Real Estate’s target of continuing its strategic build-out and scaling its residential platforms across the UK, Germany, Sweden and Denmark.
Prologis – Alfred F Kelly Jr has been appointed as a director of the company to bring broad leadership experience and a strong understanding of technology, risk and global markets. Kelly joins from Berkshire Partners, where he served as an advisory director, and previously held the role of chief executive officer at Visa. With over two decades of corporate leadership experience, he also spent several years at American Express, where he established a track record as president of the company. In his new role, he will support Prologis’s target of strengthening the business for the future, focusing on technology, risk management and global markets.
CBRE Investment Management – Karoline Nader-Gräff has been appointed head of EMEA urban destinations operator division to lead the firm’s strategy across the office and retail sectors within its direct investment strategies in the region. Nader-Gräff joins from Ingka Centres, where she served as acting global expansion and development director and a member of the executive management team, overseeing a €9bn global real estate portfolio. She previously held investment, fundraising, asset and fund management roles at ECE Real Estate Partners and Credit Suisse. In her new role, she will support CBRE Investment Management’s target of navigating the structural transformation of the office and retail sectors and delivering long-term value, focusing on experience-led placemaking, active portfolio management, and growing the €16bn urban destinations platform.
Antin Infrastructure Partners – Duncan Welsh has been appointed as investor relations principal in Australia. Welsh joins from IFM Investors, where he served as head of investor relations and client solutions operations, and previously held various relationship roles across Australia, North America, Europe and Asia. In his new role, he will support Antin Infrastructure Partners’s target of expanding its global investor presence, focusing on establishing an investor-focused office in Melbourne and managing relationships across Australia and South East Asia.
Art-Invest Real Estate Funds – Eren Kahraman has been appointed as managing director to lead the company into the future with vision, reliability and innovative drive as part of a generational transition. Kahraman transitions roles within the same company, where he has been part of Art-Invest Real Estate Funds since its inception in 2011, and previously held the role of head of debt financing operations, where he oversaw the BaFin approval process and established the company’s risk management system. In his new role, he will support Art-Invest Real Estate Funds’ target of further strengthening its market position and managing its €7.2bn in equity, focusing on finance, sustainability and human resources. Philipp Henkels has stepped down as managing director from the management board, which he has led since founding the company in 2011. Henkels leaves the firm after establishing the capital management company as a provider of regulated institutional investment funds.
Vantage Data Centers — Michael Stoner has been appointed as chief development officer, North America, where he will lead North American development strategy, advancing new campus opportunities and power-ready capacity to support cloud and AI customer demand. Stoner transitions from within the company, where he most recently served as senior vice president of market development, North America, overseeing market strategy, site selection, new site development and preconstruction. He previously founded and led Lake Street Ventures, a real estate development company, and held leadership roles with general contractors overseeing the development of retail, multifamily, office and hospitality projects. With more than 35 years of experience in data centre development, real estate and infrastructure projects, in his new role he will support Vantage Data Centers’ target of scaling to support the next generation of cloud and AI workloads, focusing on market development, site selection, energy procurement, campus readiness and preconstruction.
MetLife Investment Management – Chris Aiken has been appointed as head of real estate equity strategies, where he will lead the direct property investment platform and oversee investing activities for the general account and third-party institutional investors. Aiken transitions roles within the same company, where he served as managing director and head of acquisitions for MetLife Investment Management, and previously held the role of managing director at Safanad. With over 20 years of experience, he also spent nearly 12 years at BlackRock, where he established a track record across multiple real estate investment strategies. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of scaling its $106.2bn real estate and agricultural finance platform, focusing on executing core, core-plus, build-to-core, value-add and opportunistic strategies.
American Real Estate Association – Chris Lim and Andrew Dodge have been appointed to the board of directors to lead the trade association’s strategy during a period of industry transition. Lim joins from REMAX, where he serves as president and chief growth officer overseeing brand building and industry innovation, while Dodge brings an outside business perspective as a seasoned investor and businessman. Lim previously held senior leadership and brand-building roles within the real estate franchise sector. In their new roles, they will support the American Real Estate Association’s target of scaling its mission to elevate industry standards and provide agent advocacy, focusing on launching public education initiatives, shaping an elite educational framework and acting as an apolitical voice on the value of property ownership.
New Era Energy & Digital – Charlie Nelson has been appointed as chairman and CEO to lead the company’s next phase of execution, delivery and growth. Nelson transitions from his previous role as president and chief operating officer. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of building the business into a scaled digital infrastructure platform, focusing on advancing Texas Critical Data Centers. E Will Gray II has been appointed as president of the Permian to continue supporting the company’s Permian Basin relationships, local stakeholder engagement and development initiatives. Gray transitions from the board of directors and his previous position at the firm. In his new role, he will support New Era Energy & Digital’s target of executing its next phase of regional growth, focusing on the Permian Basin asset base. Ted Warner has been appointed as president and chief financial officer, and named to the board of directors, to lead finance and capital markets functions while supporting broader enterprise execution and strategic planning. Warner transitions from his previous role as chief financial officer. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of expanding its enterprise execution capability, focusing on finance, capital markets and strategic planning. José Rodriguez has been appointed as chief operating officer to lead data centre delivery, power development and critical environment operations. Rodriguez joins from Microsoft, TikTok, and Amazon Web Services, where he served in various data centre and infrastructure leadership roles and previously held engineering positions at GE, Entergy and the Tennessee Valley Authority. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of disciplined execution across infrastructure delivery, focusing on hyperscale data centre engineering and large-scale energy project execution. Darin Rovell has been appointed as chief accounting officer to lead the company’s accounting organisation, financial reporting processes, internal controls and public-company reporting infrastructure. Rovell joins from HF Sinclair, where he led reporting and accounting efforts, and previously held the role of leader in investor relations and accounting at At Home Group. With over 15 years of experience, he also spent several years in corporate consulting, where he established a track record in financial controls and public-company reporting. In his new role, he will support the firm’s target of scaling its financial infrastructure, focusing on providing additional accounting capacity as the business expands.
AP Ejendomme – Henrik Steenstrup has been appointed CEO of AP Ejendomme, the property arm of Danish pension fund AP Pension. Steenstrup will take up the post on 1 October 2026, succeeding Peter Olsson, who resigned in May after a decade in the role. AP Ejendomme’s CFO Helle Grosser, who has been leading the company in an interim capacity, will continue as acting CEO of the property group until Steenstrup begins the role. Steenstrup joins from CPH City & Port Development, where he has served as property director since 2019. His prior experience includes senior positions across Nordea’s real estate investment, asset management and capital markets divisions, as well as roles at LD Equity and Danske Bank.
