AEW – Laetitia Archambault will join the company on 23 September as head of asset management France. Laetitia will be based in Paris and will report to Raphaël Brault, CIO Europe & head of France.

Archambault will be responsible for leading the asset management team, which is in charge of developing and managing real estate strategies including management, development, renovation, marketing, valuation and sale of assets for all AEW’s clients in France.

Laetitia Archambault, who is joining AEW as head of asset management for France

Archambault has 20 years of experience in the real estate asset management field. After starting her career at DTZ Asset Management, she joined PIMCO Prime Real Estate (previously Allianz Real Estate) in 2016 where she held various positions. Promoted to head of asset management for France and Netherlands in 2017, she was appointed head of development and asset management for France and the Netherlands in 2022.

Generali Real Estate – Michiel te Paske has been appointed as the new director for investor relations and capital raising. Generali said that te Paske’s expertise would be instrumental in building and strengthening business relationships with institutional investors, with the goal to promote investment opportunities and raise capital from institutional clients.

In his newly created role, te Paske will report directly to the Generali Real Estate CEO & GM, Aldo Mazzocco, and work closely with other Generali Real Estate and Generali Investments functions. He will be based in London.

He has significant experience in real estate investing having previously covered leadership roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to that, he worked at Limburg Institute of Financial Economics and Global Property Research. 

Canyon Partners – Ricard Janson has joined the firm as senior vice president in the EMEA Capital Formation group.  

Janson will primarily focus on the Nordic and Dutch markets. He will report to James Anderson, who was appointed head of EMEA Capital Formation in December 2023.

Janson brings more than 15 years of private markets and capital formation experience in the Nordic region and across Europe. Most recently, he established and led business development and investor relations in the Nordics and the Netherlands at CAPZA, a European private investment platform. The EMEA Capital Formation group is based out of Canyon’s London office along with Canyon’s European investment team.

Housing Growth Partnership – Alex Maltby has been appointed as investment director, with responsibility for the South West of England. Maltby will oversee the opening of HGP’s first office in the region, in Bristol, and will lead the team responsible for growing HGP’s footprint across both the SME for-sale and living sectors.

Alex brings more than 15 years of residential real estate investment and funding experience, in both debt and equity. His previous roles include head of major transactions at L&G Affordable Homes, where he was responsible for structuring, transacting and managing strategic investments, prior to which he was head of partnerships at Homes England.

DC Advisory Andrew Murray-Lyon has been hired as healthcare managing director in the London office, as the firm continues to capitalise on global sector growth with its international team of 26 senior bankers in Europe, Asia and the US. DC Advisory has also appointed James Sutch as managing director in the Business & Tech-Enabled Services sector in the UK, boosting the global franchise following the recent appointment of Tim Morris and Dan Skolds

Murray-Lyon brings 17 years’ healthcare M&A experience, most recently at Houlihan Lokey, where he co-founded the European Healthcare team. Prior to this, he held positions at Lazard and Deutsche Bank.

DC Advisory’s global healthcare team now comprises specialists in MedTech, Pharma, Outsourced Manufacturing, Care & Services, Healthcare IT and Supply Chain, and Life Sciences. 

Sutch brings more than 17 years of corporate finance experience in leading M&A advisory firms across the business services and industrials sectors.Sutch was a director within Houlihan Lokey’s European Business Services team, having previously held senior positions at the Royal Bank of Canada and Rothschild & Co.

Stonepeak  The alternative investment firm specialising in infrastructure and real assets, has opened an office in Abu Dhabi. Hajir Naghdy, senior managing director and head of Asia and the Middle East at Stonepeak, said: “We are excited to establish our presence in Abu Dhabi, and specifically within ADGM, an increasingly important hub for the global investment management industry. Jolt Capital  Marc Vincent has joined the private equity firm specialising in growth deeptech investment, as strategic advisor.

Vincent has extensive international experience and leadership in corporate finance as well as investment banking. With a career spanning over three decades, Vincent will provide crucial guidance and a far-reaching network of contacts to Jolt Capital as it continues to expand in the technology investment landscape.

Vincent is the president of Ambrym Advisory, a corporate finance boutique and a member of the Advisory Board of RIPPLEDOT Capital Advisory in Singapore. He previously held senior leadership roles at Natixis and Mediobanca.

Europa – James Hanks has been appointed to the newly created role of head of tax and Lenka Sargon has joined as senior fund controller.

Hanks will have responsibility for overseeing all of Europa’s tax operations, including managing reporting and providing strategic tax guidance for all fund entities and client investment funds.

He joins Europa after six years at Goldman Sachs where he was a vice president in the EMEA Tax Advisory Team and was the EMEA tax lead for European real estate matters within the Asset Management Division. Prior to this, James spent six years at EY in Assurance and the International Tax Services division.

Lenka joins the business from AEW Europe and has more than 15 years’ experience in accounting roles, including at PATRIZIA, formerly Rockspring. In this new role, Lenka will be responsible for supervising Europa’s financial operations, managing financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance for Europa’s real estate investment funds.
