JLL – The real estate services firm has appointed Mateusz Bonca as CEO of Poland. Bonca joins from oil and gas firm Grupa Lotus, where he was president of the management board. Prior to that, he was a director at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and financial practice manager at Peppers and Rogers Group Middle East, based in Dubai. He spent the first stint of his career at McKinsey & Company and Deloitte. 

Cushman & Wakefield – The global real estate services firm has appointed Barbara Koreniouguine as head of France. She succeeds Antoine Derville who led Cushman & Wakefield France from 2013. She will be responsible for the operational and financial performance of Cushman & Wakefield’s business in France.  She was most recently MD of Leon Grosse Immobilier, an office, residential and hotel developer. Koreniouguine’s career prior to Cushman & Wakefield includes serving as CEO of Allianz Real Estate France.  She has also held senior leadership positions at BNP Paribas Real Estate where she served as deputy MD at BNP Paribas Real Estate residential and corporate property and executive chairman at BNP Paribas Real Estate commercial and residential development, as well as Icade Group. Koreniouguine is also a former chair of the Cercle des Femmes de l’Immobilier.

Deutsche Finance International – The pan-European private equity real estate investor has appointed Ben McComb as chief financial officer. In this newly created role, McComb will continue to develop the people, systems and processes needed to support DFI’s growing scale and breadth of operations. McComb was most recently finance director at Henderson Park. McComb’s previous experience also includes five years as CFO of Brockton Capital and seven years as head of fund reporting at Doughty Hanson. He began his career with roles at Mace Group, AXA Investment Managers and UBS Private Equity.

Ringley Group – The UK residential property consultant has appointed Jon Curtis as head of building engineering. Curtis will manage a number of project teams responsible for assisting leaseholders and building owners with cladding-related issues, as well as refurbishment projects, defects diagnosis and other risk assessments. He joins from Spencer Lockwood, where he was head of surveying for three years. Prior to Spencer Lockwood, Curtis was a building surveyor at Pegasi Management Company for more than 20 years.

Picton – The UK REIT has appointed Lena Wilson as a non-executive director, effective from 1 January 2021 and as chair designate. She is currently on a number of boards as a non-executive director, including NatWest Group, Intertek Group and Argentex Group, and is also chair of Chiene + Tait.  Previously, Wilson was chief executive of Scottish Enterprise from 2009 until 2017 and prior to that, was a senior investment advisor at The World Bank. She will take over as chair effective 1 February 2021 following a handover from Nicholas Thompson.

INGMichele Monterosso has been appointed global sector lead for construction at ING wholesale bank. He currently serves as managing director and head of real estate finance Germany, Austria & Czech Republic for the bank. He will continue to be in Frankfurt for the rest of 2020 and will be based in Milan thereafter. Monterosso will set the global strategic direction for the sector within ING, and will coordinate all activity for ING’s construction clients around the world. He joined ING in 2006 and held different managerial positions within the group across different geographies, mainly in connection to real estate sector. He previously worked at KPMG and Cushman & Wakefield, where he was active in commercial and residential real estate projects following pan-European accounts.

Kajima Partnerships – The international developer and investor has appointed Dwayne McAleer as its Dublin-based country head for Kajima Ireland. Across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, McAleer will be leading Kajima’s activity in financing and developing projects across the healthcare sector, including hospitals, community care and elderly living. McAleer has successfully developed a significant programme of regional sites in Ireland on a bundled basis and has international experience operating in private consultancy, specialising in feasibility and viability analysis.
