I Squared CapitalRadhika Fox is joining the firm as a senior policy advisor. Fox will provide strategic advice on environmental infrastructure, with an emphasis on water policy and regulation. Most recently, Fox served as the assistant administrator for the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Water. In this role, she served as chief advisor to the EPA administrator and White House on domestic water resources and water infrastructure matters. Prior to joining the EPA, Fox served as the CEO for the US Water Alliance. Her career in water began at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.

CenterSquare Investment ManagementRobert Glenn III has been appointed managing director in the firm’s capital markets group. In this role, he will lead business development and fundraising efforts for CenterSquare’s public and private real estate investment strategies across the Southeastern US and other global regions. He most recently served as a VP at Lubert Adler Partners, responsible for capital formation and portfolio management, and served as chair of Lubert Adler’s sustainability committee. Before joining Lubert Adler, Glenn was an asset manager for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE. Prior to that, he spent five years with Brookfield Asset Management, where he was involved in the sourcing, execution, and portfolio management for investments held within Brookfield’s real estate funds. He began his career at Baltimore-based Cordish Companies, where he specialised in retail leasing and mixed-use development. He previously served as vice chair of ULI New York’s DEI committee and a member of its management committee. 

SegroBen Quarrie has been appointed development director in Segro’s national markets team. Quarrie will be responsible for delivering both pre-let and speculative development opportunities from the region’s existing land bank, and will be involved in identifying new land opportunities in line with Segro’s investment strategy. Most recently he led the delivery of projects across several sites simultaneously for St Modwen Logistics. Prior to his time at St Modwen, Quarrie held positions at National Grid, supporting strategies for the disposal of brownfield industrial sites across the Midlands, South of England and Wales.

UKREiiFLord Richard Harrington has been appointed to the UK’s real estate investment and infrastructure forum’s advisory group chair. He’ll assist UKREiiF with their growth strategy following their acquisition by Infopro Digital in July. Alongside his role in chairing the UKREiiF advisory group, he’ll help advise around key growth areas for the business. His political career began after being elected in 2019 as the MP for Watford; serving as a government minister he was responsible for the construction industry and recently carried out a review on foreign direct investment. He became a Life Peer in 2022 and has also served as Minister of State for Refugees.

GPT Group  Matthew Brown has been appointed head of office. He will join GPT from ISPT, where he is currently a group executive and head of funds management. Prior to ISPT, Brown held leadership roles at Charter Hall and GIC. At Charter Hall he had the dual responsibility as fund manager for the Charter Hall Office Fund and head of office investment management. He was with GIC for almost a decade, including a stint as deputy regional head, Asia. Brown will replace Martin Ritchie who will be leaving GPT after 23 years. Ritchie has held a number of roles at GPT including leading the office team and as fund manager for GPT’s Wholesale Office Fund.

Tortoise Capital AdvisorsBrett Wright has been appointed to the new role of chief revenue officer. Wright is a member of the firm’s management committee and reports to Tortoise Capital CEO Tom Florence. As chief revenue officer, Wright will lead Tortoise Capital’s distribution efforts, including sales and marketing. Before joining Tortoise Capital, Wright was head of distribution for alternative investment manager AXS Investments. Before that he spent 12 years at Macquarie Asset Management where he held several leadership roles. He led strategic initiatives involving new products, sales channels and geographies as head of the Americas client group, member of the public markets executive committee, and CEO of the Optimum Funds Trust, among other management roles.

M&GEdward Boots has joined the firm’s real estate finance team in Europe. Responsible for sourcing and executing new lending opportunities across continental European real estate markets, Boots will work alongside the existing origination team and M&G Real Estate’s platform of investment professionals in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Paris and Stockholm. He will be based in Amsterdam. Boots previously served as head of real estate finance, The Netherlands, at HSBC Continental Europe. Prior roles also include time as co-head of real estate clients and VP, origination for commercial real estate at Deutsche Bank. 

LondonMetric PropertyDarren Richards has been appointed to the newly created role of CIO. Richards, who will report directly to CEO Andrew Jones, joins the company’s senior leadership team and will work alongside Andrew Smith, Valentine Beresford, Will Evers and Mark Stirling to oversee the enlarged and growing property portfolio. He joins from British Land Company where he has been a member of its executive committee since 2014. Prior to joining British Land in 2005, Richards worked at Pillar Property, alongside a number of current LondonMetric employees.

Leumi UK – The real estate lender has appointed Nick Westoby to the property finance team as a relationship director. In his new role, Westoby will be responsible for growing the property finance team’s position in the market with a focus on delivering bespoke lending opportunities across all real estate sub-sectors. Prior to joining Leumi UK, Westoby held senior positions at organisations including Octopus Real Estate, Hatfield Philips International, Gatehouse Bank and the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Evolution Sustainability – The energy management, engineering and sustainability consulting firm has appointed Guillermo Dekker to the new role of EU managing director. Dekker will lead the expansion of the firm’s energy and sustainability solutions into the European built environment. He joins from Metabolic where he worked as cities and regions lead. Prior to joining Metabolic in 2021, Dekker worked as a senior consultant and EMEA manager at Streak Kb. He also previously worked as an urban planner and analyst at architecture and landscape design firm KCAP.

MaxCapKylie Robb has been appointed chief financial officer. Robb was formerly executive general manager, chief financial officer business and private banking at National Bank of Australia. She brings more thanr 20 year’s experience in financial services, including investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York and Sydney. She has also worked with the group treasury unit at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. At MaxCap, she will work the firm’s executive team to accelerate the company’s growth and innovation.

Federated HermesDinesh Gautam has joining the firm’s real estate debt team as associate director. In his new role, Gautam will report into Paul Robinson, director, to support in the origination, structuring and execution of real estate loans. Gautam joins from Bank J Safra Sarasin, where he was responsible for the underwriting, execution, and restructuring of senior debt mandates secured against commercial real estate assets for high-net-worth families and UK corporations. Previously, Gautam built a broad skill set across several firms, with a focus on deal structuring, execution, and portfolio management of senior and mezzanine real estate development and investment loans.

MeasurablMaureen Waters has been promoted to the newly created role of president from her previous role of chief growth officer. With over 25 years experience in real estate services and investments, technology, and venture capital markets, Waters’ career spans many facets of the industry. From chief strategy officer at Cushman & Wakefield and head of real estate at Bill Gates Investments to her role as president of Ten-X, and partner at Metaprop. Sara Anzinger is transitioning to SVP of data strategy and ESGx. Vivek Ghosh has been promoted to VP of product. Sara Maffey has been promoted to SVP of managed services. Chris Zegal who was appointed SVP of marketing earlier this year, is joining the leadership team and has an expanded scope responsibility. 

Knight FrankNick Blevins has been appointed head of life sciences and innovation agency. Blevins joins as a partner from Cushman & Wakefield, where he has worked since 2014, having been appointed as head of life science occupier representation in 2021. Blevins will take over from Emma Goodford, who will leave Knight Frank next Spring. Blevins will lead the ongoing growth of Knight Frank’s life sciences and innovation team, focusing on expansion in core markets across the Golden Triangle. Tori Forster and Charlie Perkins have joined the firm’s UK industrial and logistics team. Forster joins as a senior negotiator focused on East London, from Glenny, prior to which she spent three years as real estate project manager at online grocery retailer Ocado. Perkins joins the West London team as a senior surveyor following six years at Altus Group and, most recently, Vail Williams. Alongside Forster and Perkins, Knight Frank’s industrial and logistics team has been further bolstered by the addition of three new permanent graduate hires. Abigail Cunningham and Oliver Wallis join the team’s East and West London teams respectively, supporting landlords and occupiers on transactions in the sector, while Henry Bradshaw has been appointed to focus on lease advisory. Paul Mussi, partner at Knight Frank, also returns to the team from sabbatical to lead the team’s business development initiatives alongside continued work in the East London market.  

Forsters — The London real estate and private wealth law firm has appointed Victoria Towers as its new head of commercialreal rstate leading its market facing strategy.  Towers, a partner and co-head of the firm’s industrial & logistics team, will assume leadership of the CRE practice. A partner of the firm since 2012, Towers is widely recognised as a leader in the rapidly growing Industrial and logistics sector, leading multi-disciplinary teams on all aspects of development transactions. Towers takes over position from Andrew Crabbie, who has led the growth of the CRE practice during his 5 years in the role.  Following a 26-year career with the firm, Crabbie is taking a sabbatical and will be returning to the business full-time in January 2025 to focus on his diverse client base, which includes leading real estate investors and developers.

YugoRobin Moorcroft has benn appointed SVP, commercial. Moorcroft will be leading client and commercial activities to deliver growth and embed long-term performance across the business. His role also encompasses the recently acquired CRM Students. Moorcroft spent nine years at Global Student Accommodation, where he  was most recently transactions director.

RockFarmer PropertiesDavid Krantz has been appointed head of capital markets. Krantz will focus on curating new investment opportunities, growing their institutional investor clientele, building out the company’s investor vehicles, structuring and negotiating portfolio debt and fostering key relationships both internally and externally. Krantz joins RockFarmer Properties after serving as MD and head of real estate at Mirae Asset Securities USA. Prior to Mirae, Krantz held senior roles at firms such as Savills USA, CBRE, and The Praedium Group, where he led capital market groups, managed investment sales, and structured complex real estate transactions.
