Hines – Alexandra Gumuchian and Mickey Scott have joined the international real estate firm’s UK business as asset managers in the student housing and industrial/logistics teams respectively. Gumuchian will be responsible for managing Hines UK’s 11 student housing assets in the UK and Ireland. She joins Hines from iQ Student Accommodation, where she worked as an investment associate and also has five years of experience working at Savills. Scott will be responsible for managing the growing portfolio of Hines UK logistics assets, both within its joint venture portfolio with Chancerygate and those managed on behalf of the firm’s discretionary funds. Scott joins Hines UK following over five years of experience working across property funding, logistics and office assets at Tesco.

Colliers InternationalP Jane Gavan has joined the real estate services and investment management company’s board of directors. Gavan is president, asset management of Dream Unlimited. She served as CEO of Dream Global Real Estate Investment Trust from its 2011 IPO until its sale to Blackstone in December 2019. Prior to joining Dream, she acted as legal counsel for numerous companies including those in the real estate industry. She began her career in private law practice with Blake, Cassels & Graydon, specialising in real estate and corporate finance.

RE5QDuncan Owen has joined the AI-powered real estate data provider as non-executive director. He currently serves as global head of real estate at Schroders. As part of this role, he chairs the Schroders real estate investment committee and SREIM board, as well as being a member of the real estate global indirect investment committee. He is also the investment manager for Schroder UK REIT. Before joining Schroders, Owen served as CEO of Invista from 2006 to 2012. He was previously a board director at Insight Investment from 2003 to 2006 and concurrently head of alternative investments. He joined Insight Investment in 2003 following its acquisition of Gatehouse Investment Management, a real estate investment management boutique, which he co-founded.

Alpha Real CapitalBoris Mikhailov has joined the specialist manager of long income real assets as director, client solutions, to help further develop the firm’s business with pension funds and their advisers. Mikhailov has held senior investment and distribution roles at Aviva Investors, and prior to this, he was principal consultant within Mercer’s Financial Strategy Group.

Tattersall Lorenz – The SME property manager based in Berlin has appointed Eiko Görs as the new head of its Berlin office. He succeeds Heiko Lautenbach who, after around seven years with the company, will be pursuing new professional challenges. Görs has over 30 years’ experience in the real estate industry. Most recently he was head of operations at CBRE Berlin. Previously, from 1999 to 2017, he managed the Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden offices of BNP Paribas. He was later property management VP of the NAI Sullivan Group.
