Prologis – Ted Eliopoulos is joining the company as managing director of strategic capital. Eliopoulos will help Prologis continue to grow its private investment business, bringing years of experience and deep expertise. Eliopoulos will work closely with Karsten Kallevig, global head of strategic capital. Both leaders will report to Dan Letter, Prologis’ global president. Most recently, Eliopoulos was managing director and senior advisor of Calvert Research and Management, having previously served as Calvert’s CEO and president. Previously, Eliopoulos served as the vice chairman and head of strategic partnerships at Morgan Stanley Investment Management from 2019-2022. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Eliopoulos served as the CIO of the California Public Employees’ Retirement System from 2014 - 2018. Before becoming CIO, from 2007 - 2014, he was the pension fund’s senior investment officer of real estate and then real assets. From 2002 to 2006, he served as the chief deputy treasurer and deputy treasurer at the California State Treasurer’s Office. Eliopoulos’ past and current board affiliations include the US Real Estate Roundtable and the Pensions Real Estate Association, and the Sustainability Accounting Standard’s Board’s Investor Advisory Group, as well as the Alliance for Southern California Innovation Advisory Council. Eliopoulos currently serves on the board of the Robert Toigo Foundation and the Pacific Pension Institute.
Landmark – Alex Katsnelson has been appointed senior director of European investment. Katsnelson will be responsible for leading Landmark’s investment activities in Europe, executing on new student accommodation investments. Katsnelson joins the firm from Harrison Street, where he was responsible for international transactions and expansion. Prior to that, he held asset management and portfolio management roles at Walton Street Capital.
Cohen & Steers – Lisa Dolly has been appointed director of the company. Dolly has also been appointed as a member of the board’s audit committee, compensation committee, and nominating and corporate governance committee. Dolly is the former CEO of Pershing. Dolly’s career spanned over 30 years at Pershing, including over two decades in senior leadership positions. In addition to serving as CEO from 2016 – 2019, Dolly served as Pershing’s chairman from 2019 – 2020 and COO from 2013 – 2016.
AEW - Melanie Warren has joined the real estate investment manager’s investor relations team. She is responsible for developing and maintaining client and consultant relationships across AEW’s investment services and offerings. She will work with the firm’s 26-member team on all aspects of investor relations, including capital formation, client service, communications and marketing, and assisting in product development/client solutions. Based in Boston, she reports to Jay Struzziery, AEW managing director and head of North America Investor Relations. Warren joins from JP Morgan Chase, where she held a variety of roles, primarily within asset management, for nearly a decade.
reAlpha – The real estate technology company has appointed William Brent Miller as the company’s CFO, replacing Michael J Logozzo from his role as interim CFO. Miller will assume responsibility for all financial and accounting functions of the company and will report directly to its president and COO Logozzo. Miller brings over 20 years of finance reporting and leadership skills. Before joining the company, from January 2019 to March 2024, Miller served as chief accounting officer of Sunlight Financial Holdings. Prior to Sunlight, from October 2015 to March 2018, Miller served as CFO and treasurer of KKR Real Estate Finance Trust. From January 2009 to August 2015, Miller served in a variety of roles with Fortress Investment Group, including controller of New Residential Investment Corp and VP of finance.
Slättö – The Nordic private equity real estate investment firm has marked its entry into the Danish market with the appointment of Anders Østergaard Hansen as country head for Denmark. Before joining Slättö, Hansen ran his own investment and advisory business. Prior to that, he served as a director at NREP, where he held multiple roles across the company, ultimately leading the investment, development, and construction functions within NREP’s office business line, Woods. His career also includes positions at The LEGO Group and McKinsey & Company.
INREV – The European real estate investment association has appointed Casper Hesp as its new CEO. Hesp joins INREV from Dutch real estate fund manager Achmea Real Estate, where he was director of investment management. He succeeds Lonneke Löwik who had been CEO for more than six years and whose departure was announced in March. Hesp will join on 1 October, taking over from interim CEO Jeff Rupp, INREV’s director of public affairs. Hesp is responsible for Achmea’s investment management team, overseeing the management of funds, separate accounts and international investments. He previously worked for INREV between 2007 and 2014, most latterly as director of research and market information. After joining Achmea, he remained closely involved with INREV, including as chair of the association’s training and education committee.
BTIG – Eric Clark has joined the firm as MD in its real estate and homebuilding investment banking group. Based in the San Francisco office, Clark will be a part of BTIG’s capital markets and strategic advisory efforts for clients within the real estate and homebuilding sectors. Prior to joining BTIG, Clark was MD within real estate investment banking at Citizens Financial. Previously, Clark held similar roles at JMP Securities and Wunderlich Securities.
Revelop — Bram Broekmeulen has joined the firm’s investment team from similar roles at Tristan Capital in London as well as Timeless Investments in Amsterdam. Tomas Rockström has also joined the investment team from Brunswick Real Estate. Rockström also has experience from Nordisk Renting as an analyst and business manager. Gustaf Kjellström has joined the firm’s fund and portfolio management team as analyst. Kjellström joins from Slättö Förvaltning and has previously worked at Deloitte as an analyst at M&A transaction services.
