Infracapital – The infrastructure equity investment arm of M&G has hired Lorenzo Cannizzo as director in the asset management team. He was most recently responsible for managing the continental European portfolio of 3i InfrastructureIris Ivkovic has also joined as associate director in Infracapital’s greenfield transaction team. She was previously vice president at Macquarie Capital where she was responsible for principal investments in green energy and infrastructure. Adam Spencer has been appointed associate director in the financing and hedging team, having spent six years on the M&G project and infrastructure finance team. Luigi Dipietro has been made an associate in the brownfield transaction team, having left Deutsche Bank, where he worked in the investment banking teams focused on infrastructure, utilities and natural resources.

Madison International Realty – Ehud Kupperman has been appointed director and head of the New York City Urban Retail Portfolio, comprising 2m sqft of transit and tourist-based retail space in New York City and the Tri-State region. He was previously senior vice president of development for Urban Edge Properties.

Barings – The real estate investment manager has restructured its leadership in Germany, following the spin out of part its German business and the promotion of Sascha Becker to country head in October. Andrea Scheerer, who joined Barings has head of finance Germany in February, has been promoted to the German executive board, joining Becker, Gunther Deutsh and James Salmon. Managing director Robert Schneider who was previously responsible for business development for Barings’s Munich office will now focus on the management and expansion of a pan-European logistics joint venture in his role as portfolio manager. Orpheus Peter and Johannes Miethke, previously senior asset managers, take over joint leadership of the asset management business. Nikolas von Kleist has been promoted to head of transaction management. Daniel Köhler, head of real estate treasury Europe, has been promoted to the management board.

Retirement Villages Group – The AXA Investment Managers-owned developer and operator has appointed Hetal Trivedi as chief financial officer. Trivedi, who will be given a position on the board, will be primarily responsible for risk management, financial stewardship and optimising the group’s profitability during an anticipated period of growth. He joins from The Crown Estate where he was head of commercial finance. Neal Haywood has been hired as director of project management, having departed St Modwen Properties, where he was head of construction. Sam Gibson joins as technology director to lead the launch of the company’s new IT and technology strategy. Gibson was previously IT director at EcoWorld London.
