Altus Power – Gregg Felton has been appointed sole CEO of the company following the resignation of co-CEO and company director Lars Norell. Felton will assume all of the duties formerly performed by Norell.
Morrison – Former New Zealand climate change minister James Shaw has been appointed to a new role of operating partner with global infrastructure manager. Shaw has been appointed to drive the next generation of investment opportunities that support global decarbonisation. Prior to joining Morrison, Shaw served as a minister in Jacinda Ardern’s government from 2017 to 2023. Among his previous government roles were minister of statistics and associate minister of finance from 2017 to 2020 and associate minister for the environment from 2020 to 2023. Prior to becoming a New Zealand member of parliament, Shaw had a 15-year career as a consultant based in London, working with clients all over the world.
LaSalle Investment Management – Jeffrey Shuster is to succeed Joseph Muñoz as president of the LaSalle Value Partners US fund and will also be appointed LaSalle’s head of US high-return strategies. In his new role, Shuster will lead the flagship value-add fund series in the US and will also spearhead LaSalle’s expansion of high-return investment offerings in the US. Shuster joined LaSalle in 2020, most recently serving as the head of investments for the US value-add series. Before joining LaSalle, Shuster spent 12 years at Starwood Capital Group, where he held diverse leadership roles in acquisitions, joint venture management and asset management.
Generali Real Estate – Alberto Agazzi has been promoted to a new role focused on developing the company’s growth in global markets. In his new role, Agazzi is responsible for defining and pursuing business development plans for Generali Real Estate in key markets outside of continental Europe. He wil be leveraging his experience in European and APAC markets, in real estate equity and debt and different asset classes that he gained as CEO and GM of Generali Real Estate SGR. Nunzio Laurenziello has been appointed CEO of Generali Real Estate SGR. Laurenziello joined Generali in 2018, and developed the European real estate debt platform. Previously, he was a director of Leonardo&Co, a joint venture with Houlihan Lokey in Italy.
Greystone – The US commercial real estate finance company’s low-income housing tax credit syndication platform, Greystone Real Estate Capital, has added Michael Boyle as a SVP, acquisitions and institutional investments. Prior to joining Greystone, Boyle served as SVP at CREA for nine years where he was responsible for identifying, structuring and closing investment opportunities nationwide. Prior to CREA, Boyle held similar roles with nationally recognised financial services companies, including Raymond James, with a focus on multifamily affordable housing equity and debt.
Caverion – Pasi Päivärinta, head of group business control, has been appointed as interim CFO. He reports to president and CEO of Caverion Corporation Jacob Götzsche, and Philip Carlsson, CFO of Assemblin Caverion Group. Päivärinta has worked in the company since 2018.
LCP – Jenny Harbord has joined the firm’s investment team as head of real assets. She will be heading the team that focuses on real assets including infrastructure and real estate. Harbord’s previous roles have included working at a European property investment company where she supported growth of the UK platform through capital-raising and acquisitions across the region with multi-sector and multi-risk profiles. Before that Harbord worked at Lendlease for 15 years. She held a variety of responsibilities within the investment divisions in relation to portfolio and fund management. Harbord began her career at a global consultancy where she was the lead investment consultant for various clients.
ASR – Martin Kraaij has been appointed fund director of the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund. In his new role as fund director, Kraaij will pursue further growth for the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund and establish new partnerships with universities, science parks and businesses. Kraaij started his career as a project manager at Draaijer+Partners. He then worked at DTZ Zadelhoff and Cushman & Wakefield as a real estate adviser in the Rotterdam and Utrecht office market. He also worked for two years at developer Blauwhoed as a selection manager where he supervised acquisitions and tenders. Since 1 November 2020, Kraaij has been employed by ASR’s real estate unit as an acquisition and asset manager for the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund. Benny Ng will also join the fund management team of the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund. Ng is transferring from the Research & Intelligence department of ASR’s real estate business to the fund management department.
Charles Russell Speechlys – Nicholas Burt has been appointed partner in the real estate team. Burt joins the firm from Trowers & Hamlins, where he was head of strategic land for more than five years and led a team spanning multiple offices and in a variety of practice areas.
Investec – Shivani Goolab has been appointed head of private client lending in the real estate team as it targets larger loan sizes and increased value-add exposure. Goolab joined Investec’s real estate team in 2015 and has since closed over £500m of real estate loans in both the development and investment sectors in all real estate asset classes.
Redical – Rachel Bradburn has been appointed leasing director responsible for Victoria Leeds, and Oliver Lloyd as leasing director for The Liberty Romford. Bradburn, formerly retail leasing manager at Hammerson, will spearhead Victoria Leeds’ leasing strategy. Lloyd joins from Battersea Power Station, where he was senior leasing manager. Javeria Hussain and Daniel Tucker have joined as asset managers and bring to Redical extensive experience in asset management and leasing, having held previous roles at Redevco and Rivington Hark respectively. Hussain and Tucker will work with Rachel and Oliver to implement strategic asset management plans that ensure Victoria Leeds and The Liberty Romford thrive for the long-term.
