Nordic Real PartnersAdam Cibik, real estate portfolio manager at Employees Retirement System of Texas, said he is leaving the pension fund today. Cibik will take up a managing director role at Nordic Realty Partners on 1 September. Nordic, established in 2012, focuses on real estate markets in Chicago, Austin, Racine and Los Angeles.

Heitman – Brad Fu has been hired as a senior vice president and director of Asia-Pacific acquisitions. The announcement comes less than fortnight after Heitman said it had raised $338m (€292m) for its latest Asia-Pacific fund. Fu joins Heitman’s Hong Kong office and joins from Anbang Asset Management, where he was director of global real estate investments.

BNP Paribas Real Estate – Claus Thomas is leaving LaSalle Investment Management to take over from Reinhard Mattern as CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Management Germany. Thomas was most recently head of Germany at LaSalle. Mattern will continue act as a senior adviser to BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Capital Bay – The Berlin-based real estate investment manager has acquired the management team of micro-living specialists Upartments Real Estate. The 15 employees will form the basis of a new micro-living platform which will launch in September under the name CB Micro Living. Upartments managing directors Heiko Henneberg and Alexander Kersting will assume management of CB Micro Living.

M7 Real Estate – Philip Cridge is leaving InfraRed Capital Partners after 10 years to become a director in M7’s UK team. Cridge was an investment director with responsibility for InfraRed’s pan-European industrial holdings and select office schemes.
