Partners Group and ESR have sold a logistics facility in Australia to a Taiwan-based investor Shayher Group for A$200m (€124m).
The infill project, the Gold Coast logistics hub, sits on a 22-hectare site in the Gold Coast suburb of Arundel, in southeast Queensland. The recently completed 60,000sqm estate comprises three warehouses and two multi-let units.
Shayher Group, was founded by John Lin, who is an active investor in Queensland’s retail and commercial sectors. The acquisition of the Gold Coast Logistic Hub marks Shayher’s entry into the logistics sector.
Logos, now absorbed into ESR, and Partners Group bought the site from Colgate-Palmolive reportedly for around A$20m in 2017.
It was the third joint acquisition in Australia between Logos and Partners Group, which made its first investment in the Australian industrial sector with Logos in 2015.
