AyalaLand Logistics Holdings (ALLHC) has signed a framework agreement with FLOW Digital Infrastructure to develop data centres across the Philippines.

The partners said the initial roll-out would target delivery of a 4.5MW-capacity facility, as Phase 1 of a hyperscale data centre campus, by the fourth quarter of next year. Discussions on the data centre projects are ongoing.

Jose Emmanuel H Jalandoni, president and CEO of ALLHC and senior VP of parent company Ayala Land, said the investment would contribute to the Philippines’ transition to a digital economy.

“Furthermore, we believe this partnership with FLOW enhances the value of ALLHC’s industrial landbank,” Jalandoni said.

FLOW, which was launched in 2021 by Asia-based investment firm PAG, is a regional platform providing customised solutions to meet growing demand for digital infrastructure in Asia-Pacific.

Amandine Wang, CEO of FLOW Digital Infrastructure, said the Philippine venture was part of FLOW’s ongoing Asia-Pacific expansion.
