School Employees Retirement System of Ohio is committing $75m (€63.8m) to infrastructure debt via Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP).
The pension fund’s board meeting document disclosed it had agreed to commit $50m to GIP Capital Solutions Fund III (CAPS III), along with an additional $25m for co-investment alongside the fund.
GIP is seeking to raise $3bn for CAPS III, an amount that significantly exceeds the $1.4bn it raised for Fund II in 2020.
