Former Nrep employees Anne Sofie Vett Raaschou and Christopher Aandahl have launched a Danish real estate investment management business.

Copenhagen-based Three Lakes Capital has been launched to tap into rising investor interest and an expected 2025 market recovery in the Danish living sector.

Prior to Nrep, Vett Raaschou served as head of investments at Pears Global Real Estate Denmark, and held positions at Colliers’s capital markets and Maersk’s global corporate real estate.

Fellow founding partner Aandahl, who also worked at Nrep, has experience gained at Catella Corporate Finance and at the management consulting firm Kearney.

Aandahl said: “We see some of the most attractive investment conditions since the aftermath of the GFC [global financial crisis]. Prices have generally corrected by 20-30%, and transaction volumes are down 50% from their peak.

“Meanwhile, the Danish economy is one of the best-performing in Europe with a 3.6% GDP growth in 2024. This creates unique opportunities for investors with the right strategy and local insights.”

Vett Raaschou said: “We are leveraging our deep network and data-driven insights to identify and execute opportunities others might overlook.

“Our combined experience in real estate investments across different markets and economic cycles gives us the strategic insight needed to navigate the current environment and unlock new opportunities.”
