Nordion Energi has acquired Swedish utility Falbygdens Energi (FEAB) from M&G’s infrastructure equity investment arm.
Infracapital has sold FEAB, a provider of core infrastructure including electricity distribution, district heating and fibre in Falköping for an undisclosed sum.
Infracapital said it acquired the business from the municipality of Gothenburg in 2013 and has since delivered a number of initiatives to establish the business as a standalone entity, develop its commercial focus and improve sustainability:
Ed Clarke, co-founder and CIO at Infracapital, said FEAB has a capable and proven management team with the ability to deliver further growth in the coming years.
“Our investment in FEAB is testament to Infracapital’s long-term sustainable investment approach, providing value to our investors and having a positive impact on the communities in which we operate.”
