Niam is buying 193 residential units in Sweden in a forward-funding deal.

The €2.5bn Northern Europe real estate private equity firm said it has agreed to buy the residential properties, located in Jönköping municipality, which are expected to be completed in 2023.

The project is being developed by HP Boendeutveckling and Ulricehamns Betong.

Financial details were undisclosed.

Christian Ekberg, acquisitions director at Niam, said: “These attractive residentials will offer our tenants a modern home. The properties are a good addition that strengthens our growing residential portfolio.”
