NAS Invest intends to raise €1bn to invest in European core-plus properties as part of the asset manager’s plan expand its business into the Nordic region.

The Frankfurt-based company said it has established a new joint venture based in Copenhagen to targets office, retail and logistics assets in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

The new joint venture is known as NAS Real Nordics, the manager said, adding that it is preparing to launch a fund to raise the capital to invest in the Northern European market.

NAS Invest, which currently has branch offices in Berlin, Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Zurich, concentrates on commercial and residential real estate in German metro regions and major cities.
