Japan’s Mizuho Financial is acquiring Augusta & Co, a financial advisory firm focused on renewable energy and energy transition in the EMEA region.
The financial institution’s acquisition of Augusta & Co includes its equity shares and advisory business employees, but excludes Augusta & Co’s asset management business. Financial details were undisclosed.
Mizuho said the acquisition of Augusta & Co, which will serve as Mizuho’s renewables advisory arm in EMEA, strengthens its global capabilities in renewable energy and energy transition advisory.

This is in addition to our well-established and successful global M&A platform as a result of our acquisition of Greenhill in 2023.”
