Mapletree Logistics Trust (MLT) has sold two assets in Japan for a total sale price of JPY4.25bn (€26m).
The Singapore-listed trust sold Toki Centre and Aichi Miyoshi Centre in Tokyo as part of its strategy to refresh its portfolio.
It said capital released from the divestments would provide MLT with greater financial flexibility to pursue investment opportunities in high-specification, modern logistics facilities with higher growth potential.
Following the divestment, MLT’s portfolio stands at 183 properties and the total value of assets under management is S$13.3bn (€9.4bn).
The trust has also this week settled on the sale of Mapletree Logistics Warehouse in Xi’an for RMB70.5m (€9m).
