Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) is planning to approval a $100m (€86m) commitment to the Smart Infrastructure Capital Partners Fund, the pension fund stated in a meeting document.
LACERA is expected to make a final decision next year.
The $59bn pension fund previously approved a $100m commitment to Smart Infrastructure Capital Partners Fund, to target smart technology infrastructure.
Fund manager Smart Infrastructure Capital Partners seeks to invest globally in a variety of infrastructure sectors like environmental services, industrials, power and utilities and telecommunication.
Smart Infrastructure Capital Partners declined a request for comment.
A previous version of this article misstated the amount LACERA is planning to commit to the Smart Infrastructure Capital Partners Fund. This was due to an error in the source document.
