KKR has added a three-building industrial park in Denver to its US industrial portfolio, in a deal that marks the investment firm’s industrial real estate acquisition in the Denver market.
KKR has paid an undisclosed amount to buy Park 12 Hundred, a 290,000sqftt asset in Westminster, Colorado from Conor Commercial Real Estate and WHI Real Estate Partners.
KKR said it is making the investment through its Americas opportunistic equity real estate strategy.
Roger Morales, KKR partner and head of commercial real estate acquisitions in the Americas, said: “We are excited to expand our industrial real estate portfolio into Denver. Denver is an important market, given its strong population growth and increased industrial demand, and one we’re looking forward to being a part of.”
Across its funds, KKR owns over 32m sqft of industrial property in strategic locations across major metropolitan areas in the US.
